PEPTIDE & METABOLIC MEDICINE

Peptide-based therapies use targeted biological signaling pathways. When medical therapy is appropriate, a licensed medical professional reviews the individual’s history, goals, medications, and available data before making any treatment decision. Soterra’s wellness team supports the broader nutrition, performance, recovery, and measurement plan.

Clinical and medical services are provided by appropriately licensed professionals and are separate from Soterra’s non-medical wellness services.

How Peptide-Based Therapies Differ

Peptide-based medications and research compounds act through different biological pathways. Depending on the specific agent, studied effects may involve metabolic, endocrine, or other signaling pathways. No single peptide should be assumed to provide all of these effects, and medical use is determined by the licensed prescriber.

Recovery Research

Certain investigational peptides, including compounds often discussed online for musculoskeletal recovery, remain under study and are not presented by Soterra as approved treatments for tendon, ligament, muscle, or inflammatory conditions. For injury rehabilitation, Soterra emphasizes licensed clinical evaluation, progressive strength, movement, and evidence-based recovery support.

GH-Axis Education

Some peptide compounds affect growth-hormone signaling, but their evidence, approved uses, safety profiles, and legal availability differ. Any medically appropriate therapy affecting GH/IGF-1 requires licensed-provider evaluation and monitoring.

Cognitive Peptide Research

Some investigational peptides are being studied for neurological or cognitive effects, but research interest should not be presented as established treatment benefit. Soterra does not represent investigational peptides as proven neuroprotective or cognitive therapies.

Regulatory Status & Safety

Peptide products vary widely in regulatory status. Some are FDA-approved prescription medications for defined uses; others remain investigational or unapproved. Soterra does not treat “research use” or telehealth availability as a substitute for lawful prescribing, sourcing, and medical oversight.

Peptide-based therapies are not one uniform category, so there is no single “safe for most people” answer. A licensed medical professional evaluates the specific agent, evidence, contraindications, medications, and individual risks. Soterra may provide wellness data and goals to inform that discussion but does not independently prescribe.
